L’Italia di Roberto Mancini non entusiasma davanti alla tv. Dopo le prime sei gare con il nuovo ct in panchina, infatti, gli ascolti sono più bassi di quelli delle prime sei partite dell’era Ventura.
Nel dettaglio, la nazionale nelle prime sei gare della gestione Mancini ha avuto 38,3 milioni di telespettatori complessivi. La media è pari a 6,3 milioni a partita, con uno share medio del 27,04%.
La miglior prestazione a livello televisivo è stata quella contro il Portogallo nella seconda giornata della Nations League lo scorso 10 settembre, con 7,6 milioni di spettatori e il 32,5% di share. La sfida contro l’Ucraina ha invece fatto registrare il dato peggiore, con 5,8 milioni di spettatori e il 23,2% di share.
Numeri inferiori, dicevamo, anche alle prime gare dell’Italia di Gian Piero Ventura. Considerando la sola Rai 1 (le sfide degli azzurri erano trasmesse anche su Rai 4 con il commento della Gialappa’s Band), nelle prime sei partite la nazionale aveva avuto 43,2 milioni di spettatori complessivi: si tratta di poco meno 5 milioni di spettatori in più rispetto agli incontri della squadra di Mancini. La media è di 7,2 milioni di spettatori a partita, con il 29,1% di share.
Divario che cresce ulteriormente considerando anche le gare trasmesse su Rai 4: con le partite commentate dalla Gialappa’s, il totale degli spettatori sale a 44,6 milioni di spettatori complessivi, circa 8 milioni di spettatori in più rispetto ad oggi. La media è di 7,4 milioni di spettatori a partita, con il 30,05% di share.
Nel confronto, basandoci sui dati della sola Rai 1, a livello di ascolti medi l’Italia di Mancini ha perso l’11% di ascolti e il 7% di share.

A sua volta, l’era Ventura ha numeri lontani per quanto riguarda gli ascolti (seppur non troppo a livello di share) dalle prime gare di Antonio Conte. Con l’ex tecnico di Juventus e Chelsea in panchina, nelle prime sei partite l’Italia aveva avuto 49,2 milioni di spettatori
Guardando al confronto Conte-Mancini in termini di ascolti, lo scontro pare impari: -22% per quanto riguarda gli spettatori, -12% per quanto riguarda lo share.
